Lê Thuận Uyên

Lê Thuận Uyên lives and works in Hà Nội. She spent 7 years in the UK, where she obtained her BA in Politics from the University of York and her MA in Cultural and Creative Industries from King’s College London, while simultaneously working in art fundraising at the British Museum and Barbican Art Centre.

Captivated by critical and evocative artworks by local Vietnamese artists upon her return to Hà Nội in 2014,Thuận Uyên started working in the artistic community as an assistant curator to artist/curator Trần Lương and as a collaborator of Nhà Sàn Collective. Thuận Uyên has worked for a broad range of curatorial projects including Miền Méo Miệng (Umea, Sweden, 2015), Skylines with flying people 3 (Hà Nội, 2016), Condition Report (Jarkarta, 2017), and the Gang of Five retrospective exhibition (Hà Nội, 2017). Uyên is an ACC (Asian Cultural Council) grantee.
